Is blogging still a thing?

So there I was, drinking beer and looking at the internet. What ever happened to my blog..... I don't think people even realize that I race mountain bikes for a living. I think people know me as that guy who posts weekly POV videos on YouTube about riding on the edge of some scary cliff in the desert. I am a Vlogger now, do I really need a blog? Well, after a two-year hiatus, I just turned it back on because it made me smile. Let me know what you guys think. Times were simpler then. More projects, more problems. Wouldn't trade it for anything.

The Whole Enchilada Part 1

Here's the one you've been waiting for. #followcamfriday from the most iconic trail in the world, TWE. Come for a rip with Krunk and James. Kyle is injured, otherwise he would have crushed us.
Your mother may have told you that complaining about the weather is useless. Your mom was right, everyone bitching on Facebook is wrong. That is a very important distinction to make. I will say however that it is a bit strange to be riding from 11,000 feet in the middle of November.

I am certainly not complaining, when the pow is brown, we ride bikes and when it turns white, we go skiing. Something else that your mother should have told you is that there is no bad weather, only bad clothing. Luckily, we brought down jackets.... Lots of them.

Part of what makes this ride special is the changes in climate zones throughout the descent. You basically start on the moon and end up in the desert. The bottom is borderline un-rideable in the middle of summer due to the possibility of heat-stroke, so I say we timed things pretty well actually...

This was Krunk's first run down Burro, Hazard, and Kokopelli. Needless to say, he was impressed. He had fun. He will be back. Krunk is a man who appreciates a proper trail ride, and there is just something about linking these sections together that is reasonably memorable and satisfying. Not one meter of flow trail, rough and raw,  just how we like it.

When James isn't pulling up off of everything in sight, he runs a tee shirt company that supports animal charities. Christmas is coming, hook your loved ones up with some fresh tee's and help some animals while you are at it. Winning I say. CHECK OUT FLOAT.ORG HERE

Standard stream crossing photo.... Without it, we wouldn't be mountain biking now would we... Even if it is 32 degrees out and it may have coated our bikes in ice. Perfect I say. I'll take this any day over flow trail and perfect conditions. These are the things I remember. #mountainbiking

Tune in next week to watch us smash into things on the lower sections. Also, start keeping track of how many flat tires James gets. I will be filling his tires with water, next time we ride together. That's what friends are for.
