Is blogging still a thing?

So there I was, drinking beer and looking at the internet. What ever happened to my blog..... I don't think people even realize that I race mountain bikes for a living. I think people know me as that guy who posts weekly POV videos on YouTube about riding on the edge of some scary cliff in the desert. I am a Vlogger now, do I really need a blog? Well, after a two-year hiatus, I just turned it back on because it made me smile. Let me know what you guys think. Times were simpler then. More projects, more problems. Wouldn't trade it for anything.

Rainbows and Unicorns with Frenchie

It's not every day that you get to ride with Jerome. Throw in some rainbows, and one of the funnest tracks in New Zealand and you have yourself #followcamfriday gold. And don't forget the #lightbro. All of it.
So what do you do after racing the TransNZ enduro for five days straight and producing daily videos and eating my weight in ice cream? Rest???? No way, you go ride all day and do shuttles with the boys. Duh. You can sleep later. Maybe after more ice cream.

Rude Rock is named after a tall pointy rock that looks like something very familiar..... Kiwi humor at it's best. Throw in some rainbows and we are venturing into interesting territory. Good thing cracking whips is hella masculine and makes you hard as fuck. Don't take anything I type from here seriously....

Matt Wood is a crack up. Kiwi as they come. I only understand half of what he is saying, but that is probably for the best. Not only does Woody crush it behind the lens, he also shreds on a bike.

Jerome needs no introduction. EWS Champion and all around good guy. He is taking a break from full time racing, focusing more on video projects, photo work, and chosing the races he enjoys. Sounds like my program. He basically mopped the floor with us at TransBC so he isn't really getting any slower. Just having more fun. Correct direction if you ask me.

This is the most iconic turn on the track and is a good example of building trail with the land, instead of fighting against it. Proper use of terrain at its finest. We did a handful of laps, shot some video and took some photos on this fine afternoon. We shot until the sun went down and called it another amazing day in Queenstown. Maybe I will move here for a few months next winter.

When you see rainbow, pull up. Fucking stunning. I can't even make this shit up. Stay tuned for more NZ adventure. I will return to my country tired and hungry.
