Is blogging still a thing?

So there I was, drinking beer and looking at the internet. What ever happened to my blog..... I don't think people even realize that I race mountain bikes for a living. I think people know me as that guy who posts weekly POV videos on YouTube about riding on the edge of some scary cliff in the desert. I am a Vlogger now, do I really need a blog? Well, after a two-year hiatus, I just turned it back on because it made me smile. Let me know what you guys think. Times were simpler then. More projects, more problems. Wouldn't trade it for anything.

Nature's Slickrock Skate Park

2018 comin in hot from Moab, Utah. #followcamfriday taking risks with James and Krunk.
I bet most of you reading this have spent some time Moab. It's a rite of passage if you want to tell your friends that you are a "mountain biker". Here is a place that you have never ridden in Moab and definitely need to check out.

I suspect people don't ride Bartlett because it's not really a "trail" per say. It's more of a skate park. This is designated as an open riding area and you are free to ride wherever you dare as long as you stay on the rock and out of sensitive soil. I guess this doesn't really appeal to most people that are into fitness, but this is my cup of tea.

Yes, anywhere. You don't have to hit the "mushroom drop", as James demonstrates above, but you should definitely have a look. It might inspire you to try "hucking". You never know, this could be your new calling. This line was made famous many years ago on DH rigs. Thanks to the modern marvel that is the trail bike, we now send it on our plastic mini bikes.

The rock offers amazing grip, until it doesn't.... We managed to keep it upright on this trip. Crashing on this surface burns holes in your skin so please stunt with caution.

Kyle Mears originally showed me this place. You can watch the video that we made last year below. You decide who rides it better.... Kyle does of course, but that's why he is the Mayor of Moab. James and Krunk killed it, especially for a first trip. It's always interesting to see different peoples interpretations of lines on the rock. Its fucking art. Get it down your neck.
