Is blogging still a thing?

So there I was, drinking beer and looking at the internet. What ever happened to my blog..... I don't think people even realize that I race mountain bikes for a living. I think people know me as that guy who posts weekly POV videos on YouTube about riding on the edge of some scary cliff in the desert. I am a Vlogger now, do I really need a blog? Well, after a two-year hiatus, I just turned it back on because it made me smile. Let me know what you guys think. Times were simpler then. More projects, more problems. Wouldn't trade it for anything.

Lithium Trail on my top-ten list....

I have been fortunate to ride my bicycle in some amazing places over the years. A top-ten endorsement doesn't come very easy for me, but this one makes the cut. #followcamfriday chasing Merrick Goalz down Lithium on Teton Pass. Join the party! New episodes in 4K every Friday at 10am MST
Admittedly, I have been riding a lot of bike park lately. It only makes sense as the alpine is taking its sweet time to melt out in many parts of the country, after old-man winter had it's way with us. Now I do love smashing some park laps, but there is nothing better to me than natural trail.  I really couldn't be bothered to ride "flow" trails as much....

Lithium has a bit of everything. Ripping meadows, rock chunk, steep sections and even some well placed jumps make this a winner in my book. There are a couple of tastefully placed berms, but for the most part, this one is raw and real, a trait that is becoming less prevalent in modern trail construction. I get it, we need flow blue runs to get people into our sport. Without that style of trail, I wouldn't have a job. I get it. But this is where my heart lies.

There is just something about ridge line, fall line trails..... Keeps you honest really. Lithium is accessed of of Teton Pass with with a 700 ft climb to start. This has a way of weeding out the masses and is partially why this trail stays so good.

Merrick is an absolute beast. I feel bad for his bike. I know Merrick from Moab and he possesses skills that most can only dream of. I have seen him ride some wild shit. Much like Kyle Mears.
