Is blogging still a thing?

So there I was, drinking beer and looking at the internet. What ever happened to my blog..... I don't think people even realize that I race mountain bikes for a living. I think people know me as that guy who posts weekly POV videos on YouTube about riding on the edge of some scary cliff in the desert. I am a Vlogger now, do I really need a blog? Well, after a two-year hiatus, I just turned it back on because it made me smile. Let me know what you guys think. Times were simpler then. More projects, more problems. Wouldn't trade it for anything.

Has This Ever Been Ridden?

The steepest trail I have ever ridden, period. Followcamfriday from what winter enthusiasts would call the Glory Hole boot pack on Teton Pass. Later brake pads, nice knowing you.
This trail may or may not have ever been ridden before. If you know something I don't, please do enlighten me. Anyone who has ridden this is either stupid or crazy. Jeff and I tick both of those boxes.

From the top of Mount Glory to the road has an average pitch of 40%. You know how GoPro's don't really do justice to a trail's steepness? There couldn't be a better example. It's almost comical too see how slow we have to go to avoid cartwheeling and landing in the road at the bottom.

Beautiful day for a hike. Make no mistake, this isn't everyones cup of tea. I can count the pedal strokes I made, for effect, on one hand. You actually don't need a drivetrain for this one, just big brakes. And yes, we checked and this is open for bikes, not that you really want to ride this one.... Or, do you?

Those views tho. Tucker Dog could give a shit about scenics or selfies at the top of Glory Bowl. Stick is life. I wish I was as easily entertained. Instead, I have to hike to the top of a mountain with my bike on my back and then risk my life on the way down to keep my monkey brain entertained. Duh.

Anyone who has skied Teton Pass in the winter probably has a love/ hate relationship with this tower. It means that you are almost at the top. It also means that you have just buried yourself for the last 45 minutes. Riding under it was surreal.

This was shot in June of 2017. I was on my way to BC for some racing and this week was the first time I had ever ridden a bicycle Teton Pass. What have I been doing with my life?.... Lithium is one of my all-time favorite trails anywhere and a must ride if you find yourself in the area.

Cheers Tucker, thanks for the tour Jeff. I will return. Once I install new brakes and let the snow melt.
