Riding feels good.

My first bike had 20” wheels, thirty years ago. The wheel sizes may have changed, but my motivations are still the same. I am a rider of all bikes, and a racer of any track. Cycling is responsible for most of my friends, travels, and lessons learned along the way. Over the recent years, I have worn many hats in the cycling community.

As a racer, I began racing some local cross country events in Colorado in 2001. After deciding I enjoyed crashing a lot, I switched to downhill and turned Pro in 2005. Looking for more challenge, I began racing cross country again in addition to downhill in 2010 and earned my Pro cross country upgrade shortly after. This kept me tired enough to make me drive the speed limit, be able to sit still for 5 minutes and otherwise act like a normal person in society. Enter enduro, my preferred discipline. This is why I have always ridden really, so it was a logical fit for my racing career. Racing the bike I enjoy riding with my friends every day is a dream come true.

As a coach, I spent 4 years working with a junior development team based out of Keystone, Colorado. It was very rewarding mentoring and showing these punks how to be professional downhill racers and men. Wolf Rock Racing was fortunate to see our fastest student represent the USA at junior downhill worlds two years in a row. Most recently I have coached women at the Beti AllRide Clinic at Keystone Bike Park.

As a product tester, I have worked closely with Rock Shox engineers over the last five years to bring the end-user the finest trail and downhill suspension on the planet. I am honored to have helped test and improve the modern trail bike suspension platform that the consumer seems to enjoy so much these days. I work closely with all of my partners to provide valuable product feedback.

As an ambassador of enduro, I work closely with the Big Mountain Enduro series promoters to help shape and push this new series in a positive direction for the sport. In 2014, I joined the North American Enduro Tour as an athlete representative to guide and shape the future of enduro in the states.

       Go ride your bike.
